Vacuum Housing for Neutron Guides

The vacuum housings are usually custom made for the neutronguide.

The housing allows the neutroguide to be precisely adjusted and holds the neutronguide in position under vacuum with high accuracy.

We have 25 years of experience in the production of stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium housings. Since 2023 the complete machining and welding is done inhouse.

The steel housings are painted or coated with a nickel layer.

Some housings are welded, some are glued and some have a boron-epoxy shielding inside.
